WSU band, wind ensembles present free concert

PULLMAN, Wash. – Band repertoire standards will be presented in a free, public concert, "Blessed Angels,” by the Washington State University Symphonic Band and WSU Wind Ensemble at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in Bryan Hall Theatre.

The heart of the program will include: "Blessed Are They,” by Johannes Brahms (arranged for band by Barbara Buehlman), performed by the band and conducted by David Turnbull; and "Angels in the Architecture,” by Frank Ticheli, performed by the wind ensemble and conducted by Dahn Pham.
 
The program also will include works by Kevin Walczyk and John Philip Sousa.
