Research administration training begins Sept. 14

PULLMAN, Wash. - A training series designed for employees managing research projects and sponsored programs will be presented by Human Resource Services beginning Friday, Sept. 14.
 
The "Research Administration Training Series" focuses on the administrative and management activities that contribute to successful research projects.

 
The first session, "Research Administration Update," will focus on:
• award processing and management
• new forms, online entry and processing
• improved databases
• workflow processing
• policy and procedure updates
 
Other courses in this series include topics on:
• regulation compliance
• administration costs and budgeting
• understanding contracts
• proposal submission processes
 
Each workshop will be available statewide via WSU Videoconferencing Services.
