FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Megan Riebe has been named University of Alaska’s associate vice president of development and executive director of the UA foundation by Carla Beam, university president. Riebe took the position on June 25, leaving her development position at Gonzaga University.
Riebe has more than 16 years of experience in fundraising and non-profit management, including ten years in higher education. At Gonzaga University, Riebe was the director of development for strategy and leadership Gifts. Prior to that, she worked in a variety of development roles for Washington State University her alma mater, and for the Washington State University Foundation.
Riebe has a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from WSU, and was awarded the 22nd Annual CASE District VIII Juried Silver Award in 2004 in the promotional copy writing category.
