WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Small to medium Washington business enterprises looking to generate sales to new markets will benefit from the Ready, Set, Export program. However, the originally scheduled April 2-3 program has been postposed. The new dates will be announced in the weeks ahead.

Participants who register early will be matched with a mentor from a successful exporting company and will be introduced to the export services of the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The seminar is offered by the SBDC (sponsored in part by Washington State University) and the International Trade Alliance (ITA).

The seminar will deliver primary information and resources needed to understand how to export products or services. Existing small to medium Washington based businesses interested in learning more about starting to export or interested in gaining new markets should attend.

Pre-registration is required for the seminar, which will be held at the Walla Walla Regional Airport Conference Center, 45 Terminal Loop. Cost is $59 before March 19, or $75 after, and includes lunch. Enrollment is limited. Priority will be given to existing Washington small to medium business enterprises primed to sell to a new market.

Please register online at wsbdc.org/training-calendar. For course content info, call ITA at 509-413-1470.

Parking is available on site. For directions see: Port of Walla Walla Website: Meeting Rooms/Directions.
