Students fill library atrium with music at Playathon

PULLMAN, Wash. - Seven student pianists and a soprano singer filled the Holland Library atrium with music for five hours Friday afternoon during Playathon.
 
Although free and open to the public, Playathon was a fundraising effort by students hoping to attend the 2012 Music Teachers National Association Conference March 24-28 in New York City.
 
 
Performers included pianists Esther Hayter, Andrew Romanick, Kana Ishii, Steven Damouni, Jason McDougall, Sarah Stark, Julianne Zahl and singer Samantha Cottam.
