‘Bot battles’ highlight WSU Extension camp

PULLMAN, Wash. - Using math, problem solving and teamwork, Whitman County youth recently built and programmed robots during a week-long camp sponsored by Washington State University Extension 4-H.
Kids ages 7-16 used Lego Mindstorms NXT kits to design robots while learning aspects of the important STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, math).
