PALO ALTO - Following a 15-5 victory over the No. 2 seed Norwich on Friday, the WSU women's rugby team ran over the top-ranked Temple Owls, 37-0,  on Saturday to clinch the USA Rugby Division II Women's Championship, held at Stanford University. (More photos to be posted on Tuesday.)

“We just tried to be very mentally prepared coming into this weekend,” WSU
Rugby Coach Leah Hammon said. “We knew Temple had speed and we worked a lot on our defensive line and putting a lot of pressure on them.”
