The College of Liberal Arts held its 2010 awards ceremony on April 21, recognizing faculty and staff with the following awards:


Mary Collins, director, Museum of Anthropology, Administrative Professional Excellence Award.

Andrew Appleton, professor of political science, Outstanding Achievement in International Teaching, Research/Creative Activities, and/or Service.

Jeffrey Savage, assistant professor of music, and Julie Kmec, associate professor of sociology, Early Achievement in Scholarship.
Monica Kirkpatrick Johnson, associate professor of sociology, Mid-Career Achievement in Scholarship.
