Center for Global Animal Health opening ceremony set
PULLMAN, Wash. – The College of Veterinary Medicine will hold a dedication ceremony and reception for the Paul G. Allen Center for Global Animal Health, a new facility with state-of-the-art research and diagnostic equipment. The ceremony and tours will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.
The Paul G. Allen Center is 62,000 square feet and was constructed using leadership in energy and environmental design standard. The facility will served 15018 lead scientists and their support staff as they pursue research into infectious diseases, vaccines and more and implement their discoveries on a global scale.
