mbaPULLMAN, Wash. — Undergraduate students and working professionals seeking an on-campus master's in business administration (MBA) program now have the flexibility of studying on the Palouse to gain graduate credentials in a single year.

The full-time MBA program, offered by Washington State University's College of Business, is now accepting applications for fall 2013. Prospective students should visit mba.wsu.edu to learn more and apply.

Graduates will develop strategic and analytical skills that will position them for successful careers in various industries. For example, students will develop entrepreneurial and critical-thinking skills through case discussions and projects. A major program highlight will be the opportunity to travel abroad and participate in global business practice firsthand.

"With the help of our corporate stakeholders, we identified a growing need for managers who can analyze data and make strategic decisions,” said David Knuff, MBA director. "The MBA program will meet this growing need with a focus on making data-driven decisions with a global perspective, a skill set corporate entities increasingly seek.”

"Those enrolled in the Pullman MBA will have the advantage of studying with students from multiple backgrounds and cultures,” said David Sprott, associate dean for graduate, international and professional programs. "The global mindset and innovative business skills that students will gain from working alongside their peers as well as from studying abroad will give them an advantage when seeking jobs.”

"Our goal is to develop an exciting and unique experience for those enrolled in the full-time MBA,” said Knuff. "This experience will provide an opportunity for students to grow professionally and personally and make life-long colleagues.”

The College of Business has offered the MBA degree for more than 50 years. The Pullman full-time MBA complements a suite of MBA educational offerings, including the Executive MBA Online, the Online MBA, and the Professional MBA at WSU-Tri-Cities and WSU-Vancouver.

The WSU College of Business is accredited at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
