Trevor Park
As a student in the Fine Arts, Trevor Park has proven to be an exception photography student. Since he arrived on campus he has been fully engaged as a student, an artist, a leader and an advocate. Park has served as president of the Art Student Union/Broken Ground student organization and he currently is the student co-chair of the Visual, Performing and Literary Arts Committee. He represents his department at various recruitment events and has engaged other art students to do the same.
As a leader in the Department of Fine Arts, Park has worked tirelessly to bring fellow students together, motivating them to do more for their community, by connecting through art. He was invited to attend the 2010 Cultural Congress, as a co-presenter for his “Grassroots After-School Arts Program” project. His most recent undertaking has been the development of the CATour, a cell-phone-led tour of art work on the WSU Pullman campus.
Park is a man of many talents, including cooking. In fact, his Thai Teriyaki BBQ Burger won the “Best Burger” award in the Lewiston Burger Challenge.
Park hopes to one day own an art gallery and architectural firm. He also remains committed to using art as a way to reach others in the community and the world.
