Aubri R. Bennett

Aubri Bennett graduated from Pullman High School and decided to attend Washington State University because it was nearby and both of her parents are alumni. When she began her freshman year, she started studying psychology, but after receiving encouragement from her friends and family, Bennett began to pursue nursing.
While attending WSU Bennett was involved in a variety of organizations. She was vice president of the WSU Pre-Nursing Club and an advocate for Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse. Bennett later became involved with student government in the nursing school.
During her first year, Bennett was president of her class. She also was an ambassador and president for the Student Nurse Leaders. Through this organization, Bennett helped with campus tours and went to a local middle school for career day.
After graduation, she hopes to gain a few years of field experience working as a labor and delivery nurse. Bennett also hopes to become a certified midwife and, after receiving her master’s degree, Bennett would like to work as a family practitioner nurse.
